What to Expect
Explore Lanren Creek in Manzhou with a local guide—hike forest trails, wade through cool streams, and hear tales of the land and wildlife. In October, keep an eye out for soaring raptors during eagle season, and learn to spot the gray-faced buzzard and its epic migration journey.
What to Bring
Insect repellent, raincoat, sufficient drinking water (Complimentary rain boots and straw hats provided on-site.)
What to Wear
Shoes with good grip,
such as rain boots or river tracing shoes.

Lide Community, Manzhou
Located at the meeting point of mountains and sea on the Hengchun Peninsula, Lide Community is home to rich stream and forest ecosystems. Centered around Lanren Creek, it’s not only a haven for stream fish, butterflies, and wild birds, but also a key stop along the annual raptor migration route. For years, local residents have been dedicated to ecological guiding and environmental education, inviting visitors to connect with the land through walks, guided tours, and hawk-watching experiences.
Registration & Participation Notes
The activity route includes stream walking and some terrain that requires the use of both hands and feet.
Please assess your physical fitness and health condition before registering.
If you are pregnant, have cardiovascular conditions, or any other health issues that may be affected by strenuous activity, please inform the organizer in advance and carefully consider your participation.

Booking Process

- Submit Insurance Information: After your purchase is complete, please fill out the insurance form (You can also find this link in your order confirmation email.)
- Receive Pre-Departure Notice: You will receive a pre-departure email three days before the activity. Please check your inbox regularly.
- Arrival at Meeting Point: Get ready, bring a smile, and head to the designated meeting location!

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, please do so via the booking platform or email us at info@launcher.com.tw with your order number. We will process your request as soon as possible.
Refunds will be processed in accordance with our standard terms and conditions, based on Taiwan’s Standard Contract for Domestic Individual Travel:
- 31 days or more before the activity: Full refund
- 11–30 days before the activity: 90% refund (10% processing fee)
- 4–10 days before the activity: 70% refund (30% processing fee)
- 1–3 days before the activity: 50% refund (50% processing fee)
- Same-day cancellation, late arrival, personal withdrawal, or failure to cancel in advance: No refund
