What to Expect
Total length: 10.5 km, half is mountain and half is valley, Men-ma-lo ancient trail used to be a shortcut to cross the mountain for Aboriginal people and Han people. The road is not dangerous, but it requires some physical strength and a heart that is willing to slow down and listen to the stories of islands.
Along the way, a local guide will lead you into the folds of history — uncovering the origins of the name Men-ma-lo, how ox carts once carried sisal across the ridgelines, and how the footsteps of the Sakizaya people were etched into this land.
What to Bring
Sunscreen, insect repellent, a water bottle, hiking poles, a lightweight raincoat, or small energy snacks.
What to Wear
Breathable long sleeves and long pants to avoid insect bites and scratches. Wear sturdy, non-slip hiking or walking shoes.

Booking Process
- Purchase: Place your order and complete payment through our website.
- Submit Insurance Information: After your purchase is complete, please fill out the insurance form (You can also find this link in your order confirmation email.)
- Receive Pre-Departure Notice: You will receive a pre-departure email three days before the activity. Please check your inbox regularly.
- Arrival at Meeting Point: Get ready, bring a smile, and head to the designated meeting location!

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, please do so via the booking platform or email us at info@launcher.com.tw with your order number. We will process your request as soon as possible.
Refunds will be processed in accordance with our standard terms and conditions, based on Taiwan’s Standard Contract for Domestic Individual Travel:
- 31 days or more before the activity: Full refund
- 11–30 days before the activity: 90% refund (10% processing fee)
- 4–10 days before the activity: 70% refund (30% processing fee)
- 1–3 days before the activity: 50% refund (50% processing fee)
- Same-day cancellation, late arrival, personal withdrawal, or failure to cancel in advance: No refund
